SSC CGL Syllabus 2024: Important Points

  1. All positions mentioned in the SSC CGL 2024 Notification require the Tier-I exam. Candidates must prepare for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams simultaneously.
  2. For SSC CGL Tier 2:
  • Paper I is compulsory for all positions.
  • Paper II is for candidates applying for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO). In the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
  • Paper III is for candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
  1. Penalty for wrong answers:
  • Giving an incorrect answer to a question will result in a deduction of 0.5 marks in the Tier–I exam.
  • In Tier II, there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III.
