UPSC Age Limit Details

As per the Union Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification, candidates should have a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum of 24 years.

National Defence Academy & National Naval Academy:
Unmarried Male/Female Candidates born not earlier than 02-Jan-2006 and not later than 01-Jan-2009 are eligible.

Combined Defence Services Examination:

For IMA & Indian Naval Academy, Unmarried Male candidates born not earlier than 02-Jul-2001 & not later than 01-Jul-2006 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy, Minimum & Maximum Age Limit is 20 to 24 Years, As on 01-Jul-2025 (Candidates born not earlier than 02-Jul-2001 and not later than 01-Jul-2005).

Age Relaxation:
Candidates holding Valid & current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) get a 2-year relaxation for Air Force Academy.
